VA’s Commitment to Women Veterans

It is vital for America to know that even though the left continues to try AND destroy this Administration at the expense of American citizens, President #DonaldJTrump and his White House continues to work hard every day to fulfill their promises to America.  President Trump’s White House is committed to MAKING things happen FOR AMERICA to Make America Great Again for “EVERYONE, all-inclusive.”

VA’s Commitment to Women Veterans

As we celebrate Women’s Health Week, I am pleased to announce that the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has adopted American Cancer Society (ACS) breast cancer screening guidelines that give women a choice to begin screening at age 40.

The guidelines also recommend starting yearly mammograms by age 45 and then every other year from age 55. The guidelines apply to women at average risk for breast cancer and complement VA’s already-extensive program for breast care for Veterans.

I believe it’s important for our women Veterans to know that they are in control of their care and the care they receive from VA is consistent with or exceeds care in the private sector. Adopting American Cancer Society standards gives Veterans further assurances that their care aligns with other health-care systems.

It’s worth drawing attention to a few other related facts:

  • All eligible women Veterans have access to mammograms either onsite or through care in the community;
  • Currently, 76 percent of women Veterans age 40-49 receive mammograms through VA.
  • VA quality scores from the Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), show that women Veterans are much more likely to receive age-appropriate breast cancer screening than women in private sector health care;
  • In 2015, VA provided mammogram screenings to 86 percent of its women Veteran patients age 50-74, compared with the private sector at 73 percent; and
  • VA has established a state-of-the-art information technology Breast Cancer Registry (BCR). The BCR integrates data from several VA sources to provide comprehensive patient specific information about breast cancer screening, test results, past and current breast cancer treatment, and population surveillance of breast care (both in the community and within VA).

Our Acting VA Under Secretary for Health Dr. Poonam Alaigh said it perhaps best last week: “Engaging and better servicing the unique healthcare needs of our women Veterans is one of VA’s most important priorities. When it comes to their care, we want women Veterans to be in control of it every day and in every way.”

Melania Trump Announces Inaugural Foreign Trip as First Lady of the United States

Mrs. Melania Trump is pleased to announce some of the stops on her first foreign trip as First Lady of the United States of America.

On Friday, May 19, 2017, the First Lady will join her husband President Donald J. Trump on an eight-day, five-stop trek to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Israel, Rome, Brussels, and Sicily, returning to Washington, DC, on Saturday, May 27, 2017.

The First Lady will join her husband throughout each day, but will also participate in many of her own events. In the latter part of the trip, Mrs. Trump will attend spousal programs at the NATO and G-7 summits.  She will conclude the trip by delivering remarks to United States military personnel and families in Italy.

“I am very excited for the upcoming trip,” stated First Lady Melania Trump. “This will not just be an opportunity to support my husband as he works on important matters of national security and foreign relations, it will also be my honor to visit and speak with women and children from different countries, with different perspectives.”

The White House will release daily guidance the day before each event, and a full readout of the First Lady’s activities will be provided at the end of each day.

Kellyanne Conway is fed up and is firing back! MSNBC you are playing with fire!

Kellyanne Conway, Counselor to POTUS reacted to Morning Joe hosts Mika Brzezinski, Joe Scarborough for stating that SHE is not actually supporting POTUS #DonaldJTrump, and that she is in it for money.

Conway RESPONDED in a statement on Tuesday:

The hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe have become virulent critics of the President and those close to him. Ignoring insults and insinuations is a valuable skill. But when sentiments are attributed to me that are not true, it is necessary to respond.

My beliefs, commitments and loyalties are plain to see.

The notion that I am serving for ‘the money’ or a ‘paycheck’ is absurd. As campaign manager, I made a fraction of what other consultants have made on unsuccessful presidential campaigns. Then I walked away from dozens of opportunities for millions of dollars, and instead walked into the White House. I would do it again.

It is a privilege to assist President Trump in the White House, just as it was during the campaign. I know him, I respect him, I believe in him, and I am confident in his capacity to be a transformative and successful President.

Scarborough and Brzezinski offered no evidence to support their attacks which claimed that Conway is in it for the money. They also claimed that Conway said in the past that she needed to take a shower after standing for Trump when the microphones were off during the campaign, again something for which they provided no “proof.”

Just the other day Conway was disrespected by Anderson Cooper on live TV. Conway stated that Cooper’s eye roll is “possibly sexist,” and “definitely what I’d call Trumpist,” a new term that apparently describes anything anti-Trump.

Lawrence Ari Fleischer, White House Press Secretary under George W. Bush from 2001-2003, tweeted the following regarding Kellyanne Conway.

The media is playing with fire that will ultimately consume their reputation for good, even with the uninformed. The left media has become THE FAKE NEWS story and no one is believing their rhetoric any more. Actually, they are laughed at and turned off by the informed and educated followers of TRUTH and TRUMP.
