Comments by President Trump (Source USA Today)

“Cindy Hyde-Smith is a spectacular woman. She’s a great senator,” the president said as he embarked on a trip to Florida for the holidays. “She came in and she’s done a fantastic job in a short period of time.”

Trump was asked about the controversy surrounding Hyde-Smith. She has been criticized for both her recent comments that she’d be glad to attend a “public hanging” for a friend and a video that appeared to show Hyde-Smith supporting voter suppression.

“She made a statement, which I know that she feels really bad about it, and was just sort of said in jest,” Trump said. “She’s a tremendous woman and it’s a shame that she has to go through this.”

God Bless President Trump, God Bless Mississippi and God Bless Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith and all involved.

Chattanooga MAGA RALLY LIVE: President Trump Rally in Chattanooga, Tennessee – 11/4/2018

President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence will rally today for Marsha Blackburn for the Republican Senate.

Here is a list of all the issues that Concern Marsha Blackburn for U.S. Senator

When Marsha was 16 years old, she had her first job working at a dress shop. She went to college on a 4-H scholarship and went on to sell educational books door to door for the Southwestern company. It was there that she began to develop her exceptional work ethic, which has become a staple of her career. Along the way, she learned there’s no substitute for ringing someone’s doorbell and listening to what they have to say, a lesson—and practice—she carries with her to this day.

While serving in the Tennessee Senate, Marsha led a statewide grassroots campaign to defeat a proposed state income tax. While defeating the tax, she earned the reputation as a champion of anti-tax and government accountability issues, taking to the airwaves to make the case that government wrongly believes it never gets enough of the taxpayer’s paycheck.Marsha began her elected service career in 1998 as a Tennessee State Senator. Blackburn’s Senate career was marked by her commitment to fiscal common sense and government accountability, repeatedly advocating for fewer regulations and policies that enabled businesses to grow.

Marsha believes the United States Senate is broken. She is running to be our next Senator from Tennessee to straighten up the mess in Washington and remind the Senate that it serves you. It is time for the Senate to fulfill its promises to the people of Tennessee and pass the President’s agenda.

In the Senate, Marsha will:

  • Fight to bring significant tax relief to hard-working Tennesseans;
  • Fight to cut wasteful spending;
  • Fight for our veterans to keep our promises to those who have defended our freedoms;
  • And fight to secure our borders and ensure existing immigration laws are followed.

Marsha is a conservative with a record of accomplishment. She gets things done, and in the Senate, she will fight for Tennessee families every day.

Marsha grew up in Laurel, Mississippi and graduated from Mississippi State University. She and her husband Chuck have been married for 42 years and have two children and two grandchildren.

PRESIDENT TRUMP Supports Mike Bost:

Screen Shot 2018-10-27 at 6.54.51 PM.png

Mike Bost is running for U.S. Congress because he wants a better, brighter and more secure future for our children and  grandchildren. Mike has and always will be that passionate voice of the people of Southern Illinois.

Mike Bost was born and raised in Murphysboro, Illinois. He and his wife, Tracy, have been married for 38 years. They have three children and eleven grandchildren. Mike grew up working for Bost Trucking, a small business owned by his father and uncle. Mike did everything from hauling coal to washing trucks on weekends.  Mike eventually helped run the business as dispatcher, truck manager, accountant and driver.

Mike learned the values of honesty and hard work from his parents and grandparents. He seeks to live those values every day.

Small Business Owner

For over 2 decades, Mike and Tracy have been successful small business owners.  They know the value of balancing a budget, meeting a payroll, and making sure they don’t overspend.

Mike lives by those “lessons learned” as a U.S. Representative for Southern Illinois. He’s always fighting for the federal government to live within its means and to prioritize your tax dollars. He knows what it means to live within a budget- just as your family does and just as Mike and Tracy Bost do managing their business and household.

A Marine and Firefighter Fighting For Southern Illinois Values

Mike has an extensive and dedicated tradition of public service. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps right after high school. He served as an electronic specialist and radar repairman – receiving an honorable discharge as a Corporal E-4 in 1982.

Mike served as a firefighter for the Murphysboro Fire Department, both part-time and full-time. He steadfastly answered the call of duty to protect families by answering hundreds of emergency calls and fighting a number of fires.

After reading a newspaper article, Mike was fed up with what was happening in local government. When Tracy urged him to “shut up or get involved,” he got involved by running for Jackson County Board as a write-in candidate and ultimately won. He later served one term as Treasurer for the City of Murphysboro and a Trustee for Murphysboro Township.

Frustrated as a small business owner, Mike decided to run for the Illinois House because he was tired of government red tape and regulations that hindered economic growth. By taking his case directly to the people, Mike defeated an incumbent and began representing the most Democratically held district outside the Chicago area at the time.

Mike has been an outspoken critic of government’s wasteful spending and the growing role of government in our everyday lives. He’s been a strong advocate for Southern Illinois’ coal industry, educational institutions, agriculture, public sector workers and protecting gun rights. Yes, sometimes even passionately on the House floor.

Mike believes it is vitally important to bring Southern Illinois values to Washington, not the other way around.
